We have listened and spoken to over 200 creators talk about this specific problem.
We understand that you have had a negative experience or are apprehensive about installing our Chrome extension, this outlines why ours is different.
We won't name and shame other solutions on the market, however, if you've ever used any of the following types of solutions:
These solutions require active scraping and will access your profile from their server (even when you're not logged in).
They also require "heavy" API calls, this means navigating through multiple pages pretending to be you and accessing vast amounts of data.
LinkedIn has limits in place to prevent solutions like this operating and have resulted in many creators getting banned, shadow banned or blocked entirely.
The approximate limit per day is: 150 heavy API calls per day or 1,000 light calls per day.
All the solutions above, are active. This means they're permanently retrieving data, all day every day and are why creators have got banned.
🚨This is still high-risk going near these limits and we do not recommend this at all 🚨
We can only access the data, if you, a user with the CE installed open LinkedIn on a specific day.
The reason is because we use something called GraphQL to access data, it operates through your own access (and not our servers).
The Flooencer extension is passive. This means we only access data when a trigger event occurs (like submitting a post URL). The only other trigger is once every month, we update your audience analytics.
API Calls and limits
We require 7 light API calls any time we make a request.
The way these API calls are made via GraphQL, which is via you (and not us pretending to be you).
We are extremely confident about how we've built the Chrome Extension based on feedback from creators and currently work with 100+ without any issues.
